Ayurvedic principles state that an imbalance between the VATA and PITTA doshas\u00a0 are the main cause of insomnia or loss of sleep.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CAUSES OF INSOMNIA(LOSS OF SLEEP) IN AYURVEDA<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> VATA IMBALANCE: The neurological system is governed by the vata dosha, which is in charge of movement and communication throughout the body. Restlessness and disturbed sleep can result when VATA is exacerbated by things like stress, anxiety, an irregular lifestyle, excessive thinking or poor eating habits.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> PITTA IMBALANCE: Pitta regulates the body&#8217;s heat and metabolism.
