Guduchi is a widespread creeper or vine found commonly in the Indian Subcontinent. It is one of the most essential drugs of medicinal value in Ayurveda belonging to the class Medhya Rasayana (Psychotropic drugs- Drugs that affect mood and behavior). It is also a potent Immunomodulator and possesses immense wound-healing properties.

Interesting fact: The aerial roots of Guduchi were utilized for suturing surgical wounds by the ancient Ayurvedic prodigy Sushruthacharya, often known as the Father of Surgery since they were thin yet robust and had wound-healing abilities.
